Yeah, that makes sense. Honestly it takes a lot of dedication to truly enjoy the game, as most of it is just grinding your way through things. They have those amazing epic moments that just stick with you and make the game so great when you remember back on it, but it really is a game of skill and puzzles and one long journey. BotW shakes that up though and I've heard that A Link Between Worlds (the one on 3ds you mentioned) attempted to give a bit more freedom to the player, but I haven't played it yet, so I can't really say for sure. But yeah, they are great games. I just think the epic moments are over-hyped sometimes by people and then when a new player tries the games out, they get disappointed because they have those expectations for the whole game.

Unfortunately, I am not in possession of my Switch right now and probably won't be for a little while. Otherwise, I'd totally send you it. I haven't played BotW for like a year or two sadly, since I don't have the console. I've been wanting to play it again. I think I was tackling the Death Mountain climb and got stuck but I can't quite recall..
