So You Want to Be an Admin?

Savii I enjoy chatting with you guys on here, and I think that the feeling is mostly mutual... but I've got to say, the admin begging is not appealing. Let me list some things I don't want to see:

1. "SAVANT ADD ME AS A FRIEND, I NEED TO MESSAGE YOU, IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT!" (The the message is an admin request...)

2. "I'm not begging, but, can I be an admin, again, I'm not begging!" (Yes you are.. and NO you can't)

3. "I have screenshots of someone cussing, if I send them to you, can I be an admin?" (I really don't care, I have other things to do, this is what we have admins for, tell a chat admin and let them ban the person. It's nice you're taking initiative, but seriously, unless it's something insanely terrible being said, and there is really no one else on to handle it, please leave me out of it.)

4. "My ban just ended, can I be an admin?" (Gee, what do you think?)


If you really want to be an admin, then show me by your actions, I have other admins sending me recommendations all the time, and if you are being a responsible, helpful member, eventually I will hear about it. This does not mean you need to go beg other admins to send me recommendations, because if I hear that, it falls into those other categories of what "not" to do.

If you have done some of these things in the past, chances are, I don't even remember your name, so please, don't bombard my inbox with messages apologizing, it's ok, you are forgiven, everyone has a clean slate. Apologizing to me for those is taking my time away from other things for something that really does not warrant an apology, so that too falls into my category of what "not" to do.

I don't mean to sound hostile or overly cynical here, I just want to be honest with you. I know a lot of you want to be admins, but doing any of those things really just gets to me, and it's silly for me to keep playing along and therefore wasting everyone's time.

If there is a really serious issue, vicious threats, serious hacking, things of that nature, then yes, please do tell me. But just because someone managed to sneak an F bomb by the filters doesn't mean I need to be notified, that's what chat admins are for. If you want to message me to talk about a real life problem you're having and need advice for, or to just chat about real things, then that's always welcome. If you have a real life crisis and don't have anyone else to turn to, please do message me.

P.s there was this old glitch were a bunch of people got banned for no reson so some of us got banned for nothing(my brother, my bff and some other people) so please make sure when you're making people admin and it say they were banned they may have been banned by this old glitch.

To anybody who wants admin: Are you ready for it? Are you going to respect the job? Are you going to be responsible? Are you a person that has experience with Dsi/3DS paint? If yes, tink twice. No wonder there aren't any un-responsible admins. If not, then you can just stay being a normal, responsible person.

umm.. hello. I read your blog & thought it was very awesome.. & i agree people should be rewarded with great things they do on their own time instead of waistings you & bugging you.. So good job. Oh & i was wondering if i could be a admin????

i agree with dsirocker: why do people care so much about being admins? is it because some just want power over others? or could it be to be able to get revenge on someone? we'll never know since everyones' motive aren't the same. hope i didn't insulted anyone,but i'm questing some of you people already asked that question yourself. i just speak what comes to my mind at certain time.Again srry if i affended anyone.

The "Can I be overlord" ones are frustrating, too. That doesn't even include the people who think winning in the game OverlorDS means an automatic promotion to an admin.
