I think it's a quite good idea : good 'cause of the fact that HB could earn money with that, but bad 'cause i think he has created this site to give us an alternative of online games free2play (this time on DSi ;D !)... Well... HB may think about it but i'm agree with Divine : it's just an added big work for him.
... I know x) !! But maybe HB may think about more on this... idk if he have a job or if this site is his earning-way (sry i'm french n' i try to find rights expressions ^^")... so i'm not the good person to debate about that x)...
Apple has a huge team working on apps 24/7,and they come out with, what,3 apps a month,or maybe a week(i dont own an itouch or iphone)hull and a small team are currently working on TMJ and other matters.its a great idea, but its way too much work for hull, and he has enough already.but still, good idea

Maybe users could submit their own free JS apps, while the ones you pay for could be made by HB, prices ranging from ten cents to a dollar. After all, he already has a good/great start with the Savii store. Hull, my man, if you see this, create an AppStore!
It sort of sux that good ideas die out because theres way to many I would sooo help...if I knew how and I have the time just not the skills to help with great ideas like this 1
Lifes like a game there are those who are good at it and those who need practice.
The thing is, many of the types of applications that would normally be in an App Store already exist in various parts of the site. I'm not saying there isn't anything worthwhile to be gained by having an App Store, but I don't see why he couldn't simply release whatever he works on without having to cordone it off into a store rather than have its own place on the main page. Then there's the fact that he'd have to either create another virtual currency for the store (less preferable) or incorporate the Savii currencies into it.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
two things:
1. when you start thinking of ideas like this, you need to realize, and question. example: how much space does dsipaint take up anyways? how much will it take with it? whats the cost? how much work will it take? etc.
2. you also have to think about the user. will they use it? ask yourself these questions
