The Ruby/Sapphire games remake are imminent.

the remake was emerald. :-( The redone art of the characters are from emerald, which was a remake (or it was improved) BUT that would be fun to have a ds version of hoenn :D

Lol, I've been predicting this one for a while. After the remakes of first Generation games. We all new Heart Gold and Soul Silver were coming. It only makes sense that 3rd Generation remakes would arrive.

I'm actually kinda excited. Ruby Saphire and Emerald were MY FAVORITE pokemon games. I can't wait to see what they throw out with a DS version.

Emerald[/color was not a remake. It was a Special 3rd Edition. ie: [color=red]Red, Blue, & Yellow. Yellow was a Special 3rd Edition.
Gold, Silver, & Crystal. Crystal=3rd Edition.

Also, I agree w/ Raptor, though I've never understood how Sapphire would work, do to My. Chimney. Is it filled w/ WAter, or what?[I don't think it would be fair for people who got Sapphire to have to Battle BOTH Teams]

I don't understand why everyone hates on R/S/E. It had beautiful (for the GBA) visuals, a pretty interesting story (for a Pokémon game), and some quite beloved entrants into the Pokémon lineup. The framerate was also lightning fast and smooth- compare the pace of battles in 3rd-gen to D/P/P.
Generations 1 and 2 may be my favorite, but I grew up with them. I still love 3rd gen.

All this aside... I think remakes are on the horizon. C: I eagerly await them.

Sapphire was my first Pokemon game and I'm not sure if it's coming for the 3DS (Remakes were 2 system gens away). I hope it will have a great graphical gameplay, even complete 3D.

LeafGreen was my first game, Emerald was my second. I loved Emerald, but HATED the trainer. He looks like an old man! And the Hoenn Pokémon are so boring!
