I think it would be great if we could upload our photos from the computer and put them on a special place on DSi Paint. And then, if there to big for the DSi screen, it would automaticly shrink the photos to fit the screen, then we could access them easily from our DSi. What do you think?

Photos, especially PNGs, take up massive amounts of space. The average file size of a photograph is 3-5 MB. So if it were possible, capacity would be limited--giving uploading capabilities to nearly 50,000 users is ridiculous. There's enough to deal with from everyone's paints, sprites, Saviis, etc. So you have to consider the high cost of speed, bandwidth, and money. Stored files would likely be very difficult to access and use from a DSi/3DS anyway.

Sorry to be a downer, but without a doubt, image storage and editing/resizing should stay strictly offsite to keep a website of this caliber as economical as possible. If an image hosting website can do the same and better, better it stay that way.

I guess tinypic? Just to say, the users would love it... But then they'll be all the copyright and dirty pictures. So it's best not.

just resize your photos. If you use photobucket you can resize them right there.

Bad idea. There just isn't enough space for an image uploader. And PNGs? Not a chance. So, sorry to get your hopes down, but this isn't a good idea.

I recommend TinyPic for image uploading. You don't have to register, whereas on its sister site, PhotoBucket, you do. ImageShack also works, but apparently it is infected with a Trojan SpyWare Virus right now. So I don't recommend that you use ImageShack.

it is a good idea, but it would use up to much space, so try tinypic or photobucket or imageshack (when its working again.)

I know theres things that convert images. Mabye you could convert it so it doesn't take up so much room.

No, it's not that simple. And think about how many members would be uploading photos. About 3 gigs too much.

PNG takes to much space for a NintendoDSi. Plus, if you want photos on here. Try uploading them then, past the url image to your account. Or create a link to opera.com to view your photos.

You do know that... File hosting or big companies or hosting servers have exabytes upon exabytes of space. And i'm sure Hull doesn't even have a Terabyte.

I'd recommend photobucket for uploading pics, it's what I use. Plus, they have an iPad App, which I use regularly.

Image uploading just requires too much space, and Danny doesn't have the room for something that massive...

We already have a lot of uploaders out there. Consider them. =)
