I can't help but agreeing with N that Pokemon deserve to be free. I mean, if dogfighting is illegal in the real world, I think that havibg dogs with superpowers fight is even more immoral...
Goodbye my only friend. Oh, did you think I meant you?
i understand what panzer means, he loves the game, its a childhodo dream, to live with pokemon, any true pokemon fan can easily say that they have had a dream with pokemon.
although i dont agree with what panzer said, its not really a bad idea...
and you guys shouldnt be being so mean to the guy.
@Drwho: Screw off. It's just a thought, or pondering... ANyway, I do see N's point, in many ways. But, Tia, Pokemon fight and such in the WIld, and they're fine and strong.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
Discussing violence in Pokemon? If you bring that up, I might mention that Pokemon are always fainted in battles, never killed. And while enemies like Team Rocket treat their Pokemon cruelly, the protagonists supposedly love and cherish their pocket creatures. The limited instances tend to suggest that other aspects in the Pokemon series are better subject to morality tests.
If luring monsters into captivity and using them as weapons is wrong, then consider other video games containing brutal combat and slaughter among humans. Is that not worse See, when you bring up violence in a particular game, it fares well to consider it in respect to the video game genre as a whole.
No matter what the ESRB rating, ethics and video games in general don't mix well. Analyzation of that topic, especially in Pokemon, falls short. Violent gameplay is usually unrealistic for the sake of being unrealistic. Video games are a means of entertainment--poor in many cases, but entertainment nonetheless.
Technically, death has been talked about in many Gens, Particularly Gen ![Lavender Town, the Cubone's Mother] and Gen V[Alder's Pokemon, which hasn't exactly been confirmed what it is...]
