my parents didn't "make the choice to save me" I was never in danger. My mom just.. continued the pregnancy. They wanted a kid so they obviously wouldn't have aborted me. And sex isn't irresponsible, it's only irresponsible if it's some person who thinks they're magical and immune to pregnancy, so they don't use protection on purpose.

Is it really wrong to want sex and not have a kid? If so I don't want to be right. Everybody is looking at things in black and white. Have you ever considered that the people who made the accident didn't want a kid because it isn't something that fits in their life at the moment? Considering what my mom went through to have me she might as well could have aborted me. Nobody asked me whether I wanted to be brought into this world, did they? As for me, I'm pro-life. But that's only in regards to my own body. Should I get pregnant, consensual or no, I'd be giving birth to that baby. Whether or not I keep it though, I don't know. I just know that I wouldn't abort. Granted, I'm only 15 and I've never gone past the wandering hands stage in a relationship, so this is all relative. As for other people, that's all on them. I relate this to me being a vegan. Sure I don't eat meat or eggs or dairy, sure I feel like eating it is wrong. But that's me. I'm not going to lecture people who aren't like me. I'm not going to tell you that you should become a vegan like me. As far as I'm concerned, the right choice for me might not be the right choice for you. And there's nothing wrong with that. There are a lot of conditions for everything. 'What ifs' and 'buts' effect everything a person says, does, and thinks. If you want to have your baby, good. If you don't, well, that's good too. It's all a choice.

My take on the argument is that if you're going to have sex without accounting for the possibility of an accidental pregnancy (as in, not using some type of protection), an abortion is just an enabler, it teaches you that you can be irresponsible without facing the consequences.

Uhm, no tanya, I don't talk about abortions to my parents, I don't even know what their views are, I make my own opinions and do my own research when I want to back up my opinions. And if you haven't noticed most "media"(not even sure what you mean by "media", considering the places are get your "extensive research" from is media too..) sources are idiodic and usually pro-life. If you seriously think every person who gets an abortion turns emo and depressed, then I don't even think I can talk to you. Sure, some people might regret it or whatever, but that doesn't mean abortion should be banned. I'm sure a lot of people are emotionally screwed up by surgeries that saved their lives, and other things in life. If some kid cries on a roller coaster should roller coasters be banned? um no. I think abortion is more humane than raising kids you can't provide food, shelter, love, safety, etc for. Would you rather drag out a life that sucks, or gently put it out of it's misery before it happens. If you could stop something bad before it happened, wouldn't you? And before somebody says something, no. The baby isn't the "something bad" The stuff it would have to endure is bad. If you don't want an abortion, alright don't get one and shut up about it, because you aren't going to change anybody's mind rambling about whatever. If you need an abortion, k, get one. I really don't even care who gets one and who doesn't and if you're that freaking nosy enough to care, get a hobby or something. Because while I might be "a horrible person for saying it's okay to "murder an innocent baby angel *blahblahblah*" K, in my opinion you're a horrible person for 1. Calling women who are obviously going through a hard time "murderers" (especially people who protest at the clinics, disgusting, have some compassion.)
2. For wanting to overpopulate and create poverty and horrible futures for everybody.

I'm not looking at the pictures because I don't care what your pro-life propaganda pictures look like, it can't feel, it's painless, are you saying being aborted and starving to death, dying from a disease or dying some other way are the same? lolno.

Also, I'm pretty sure i've never said I have all the answers. And I don't see any facts in your post. And no, not everybody can go to school and get a job, not everybody has those privileges. Have you seen a birth happen? That's pretty gross. A c-section/natural birth are more painful and messy than an abortion any day.

I thought about it a lot and I can't think of any logical reason why people shouldn't have access to abortions, so if anybody thinks of one let me know.
