I disagree. Orphanages are full to the brim, and finding new parents right at the Hospital is already daunting.
If they practiced safe sex, and their contraception broke, I say let them abort if they want. They were a condom for a reason: she/they don't wants kids. If te condom broke, she/they should be allowed a back-up plan.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
I think that protection should be more widely availiable (Condom Vending Machines = No embarassment), but I am pro choice due to the fact that orphanages are overstuffed hell holes.
Goodbye my only friend. Oh, did you think I meant you?
lets take a ride down this road shall we? if you were an orphan, would you wish that you had been aborted as a fetus? I would think not. the fact that they are alive gives them hope. it does not matter how cramped orphanges are. new orphanges can be built. the life of a child cannot be replaced. children are meant to bring joy, not grief.

Yes, most people don't wish to be dead, or to have never been born, but if they had been aborted they wouldn't have even known..
I don't see pro-lifers running out to orphanages and adopting, like, 10 kids very often, if somebody wants "a little bundle of joy" there are plenty already..
Usually if somebody doesn't want kids for whatever reason, they probably [1] don't want to/can't/can't afford to go through pregnancy and birth [2] might not even want to have to have a baby and give it to somebody else. It might not be "theirs" but it's still out in the world, and loads of adopted people want to find their parents afterwards, maybe they don't want even that much responsibility.. I dunno. *shrugs*
@Flow: I feel sorrow for you, since you can't spell what you're 'defending'. -.-
@Other person: Look, we can't just "build new ones", do you know what it costs, how long, and how hard[giggity] it is to find available, un-possessed land?
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
But also, quit calling them dead babies. When a Woman has her "period", she rids herself of a perfectly good "baby". So it's officially wrong to have your period.
Goodbye my only friend. Oh, did you think I meant you?
well jew, its more on the lines of you waving a wand and having your stupid little sacastic attitude just appear. im pretty sure i didn't say anything about building orphanages and foster homes out of thin air. it will take time, but it will be worth it.
heres a question for all of you. would you rather be dead, having never have seen the world, or be alive being able to live the joys and great experiances of life, even though you may be living in poverty or an orphanage for a good part of your life.
YOLO. LEMME HOLLA AT MY BOY YO. #SWAQQ blazeeee it
just because a baby is still a fetus doesnt mean it isnt a baby. just because you kill it before it was born doesnt make it okay. its just the same as killing it right as it takes its first breaths and stops depending on its umbellical cord for nourishment. whats the difference? and none of this "its technically not living" bull crap. thats why we think its okay. ITS NOT. an unborn baby is as much of a baby as one that has been born.
Also, its bull crap how you people think orphanages are basically 'too much of a bother' when it comes to building them. we all have something to contribute, think of the children
greg, This post is exactly the same as your other one, which i answered. If I, or anybody else had been aborted WE WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN, so I wouldn't have cared. If I was dead before I was born I wouldn't know what "life" was, so I couldn't "miss" it. And chances are, if you're living in poverty your life won't be full of joys.
And gardetto, saying a fetus and a baby are exactly the same is bull, if you were right, then if a woman had a miscarriage then it wouldn't be a big deal because she could just take care of it outside the womb. Lolno. have you seen a fetus? It looks like a tadpole, it has no organs for a while, no brain, doesn't breathe, it is connected to the mother getting all of it's things needed to survive from her.
And why are pro-life people so focused on "what could have happened" Do you live the rest of your life like that? "omg, I wonder what could have happened if I took the job at wendy's instead of the one at mcdonalds'." "What could have happened" Didn't happen, so it doesn't matter. We weren't aborted, so it doesn't matter if "we could have been" fetuses that were aborted were aborted so it doesn't matter "what would have happened" if they weren't. if you want to go down the "what if" road, then I could do the same. A woman has her period "Omg, WHAT IF that egg had gotten fertilized, it could have been a baby and experienced the joys of life!" But it didn't get fertilized so that woman is a horrible person apparently because something could have happened but it didn't.
Oh joy, more taxpayer dollars and bigger deficit because Old wants orphanages! Let us screw over our economy so that every single little egg cell can have a shot at life! Then our population can catch up to China and we'll all starve! Yippee! Screw us over, Old! Be my freaking guest!
Goodbye my only friend. Oh, did you think I meant you?
neon- so what your saying is that you don't care about all the aborted fetuses? way to go.
panzer- i find your anger and sacasm amusing, please be MY freaking guest and continue. as for your statement, you make no sense at all. it would take many, many, many, many, many years to catch up with china's population, and even so, our economy was already screwed. im sure you have house construction somewhere in your area. Whats the difference between building some houses or building an orphanage? are you suggesting that new houses are a waste of taxpayer money too? how about schools? are Schools a waste of taxpayer money? answer me that panzer.
YOLO. LEMME HOLLA AT MY BOY YO. #SWAQQ blazeeee it
neon- a miscarraige is different. think of it as a death of natuaral causes, while an abortion is the fetus being killed. An abortion can be prevented, while a miscarraige cannot. also, theres nothing wrong about thinking about what could have been. its called daydreaming, or imagination, ever heard about that?
Your daydreams and imagination must be pretty boring if you only think about "what could have been" I'd suggest therapy to get rid of whatever you're hanging onto.
Schools aren't a waste of money. That doesn't even make sense, that has nothing to do with orphanages. They have two completely different functions.
Besides, the whole world is ridiculously ignorant of how many people we have (7 billion if you lost count), and I think we need schools so we can teach people not to be like the family on what is it now? 500000 kids and counting? Mhhmm...
Gregg, first off, you're compleely oblivious to the most obvious points made by both Panzer and Neon.
All possible arguments I could make would be re-hashes of what Panzer and Neon have told you and Gardetto. You're not worth cramping my Stylus-Hand countering your horribly under-educated bullcrap 'arguments'.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
