Yes, I noticed that. -.-Damn Craig... I'll just hope my Post was seen. If not, a rough re-hash;
Tora, neither of us are women, so regardless of our beliefs, they don't really matter too much, seeing as neither of us is in a situation facing such an issue.
[that's roughly the Post, the OP was much better. -.- Again, Craig. -.-]
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
That was quite the flawed example. You call "manning up" aborting a child because you decided to have sex (possibly unprotected, for all I know) and didn't want to deal with the unintended consequences? Quite the opposite I'd say and I'm sure even a Pro-Choicer would find that true. I am not advocating the elimination of sex, but people need to get their head[giggity] on straight and learn that there are consequences to their actions. Just as a child whom shoplifts learns: you can't brazenly do anything you want them try to shirk away fixing what you're responsible for. Truly "manning up" would entail doing the opposite.
I'm almost certainly repeating things I've said back in this abyss of posts, but flawed arguments occasionally warrant them.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
Ram- Before the server frenzy, I was in agreement with your last post. But now, I'm not so sure.
The woman carries and delivers the baby, and that's quite obviously no easy task. However, it's still my child as well. If your wife(assuming that you're abstaining from sex, but that's a different debate) really did, in fact, love you, then she wouldn't just go and kill your child with no looking back or feelings of remorse of any kind. She would hear you out. If she didn't, maybe you should sit down and seriously reconsider your relationship.
I... I'm not deep, or funny, or anything. I'm not even a good gamer. I HAVE NEVER PLAYED A LOZ GAME. I'm pretty plain.
Sorry Tora, my first post made more sense, even to me. This one is terrible. -.- However, you get the basic gist. My point is, it's not entirely something that [I feel] requires 50%-50% agreement, more like 75%-25%. I personally know I would lay off asking if she made herself clear, but I'm just timid like that. Really, it depends on the couples personal views and opinions, and no one should try changing those... I think I lost my original point, but oh well.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
@tehjew1 Bombing innocent people in a 3rd World country wouldn't directly affect me either, so I guess I shouldn't care about it either eh?
Empathy mate.

Skittles, they are two different situations. If I stub my toe, I don't think I'm going to get attention from the Media or Church. If I go to the City Clerk's Office and arrange to get married with another man, I'll probably get yelled at all over.[note that Chicago nor Illinois have not legalized gay marriage, but they do recognize married couples.]
And thank you Teh. If I may quote a comment from it, I guess no Admin wants to touch it with a 40ft pole.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
@TheRam Stubbing a toe and having an abortion are vastly different situations too. :P
One affects another being (I'm referring to a fetus as such as we've established that calling it a person is met with arguing) while the other doesn't.
Anyway, like I said waaaayyy back in this thread, even with my qualms with abortions, I've no idea whether government involvement is a good idea or not.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
Like I've said before, Illinois has the Bubble Zone Ordinance. Essentially, it's a 15ft[or 25ft] 'bubble' of space surrounding the clinic and those entering it, to keep them from Protesters trampling them. I'm not sure if it still remains.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
Is there anything left to discuss, really? We've all been tossing the same rhetoric back and forth for 2 months, I'm prepared to continue, but is there anything else left to discuss? It's an issue like Religion or Politics; Neither Side has a 'winning' Opinion. Why? Because they're both fighting Opinion Vs. Opinion.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
No matter the situation, the Bible says to value human life, and abortion is murder. It's not the baby's fault, and yeah, VERY VERY VERY rarely abortions may be called for, but ultimately it is innocent slaying of priceless human life. Talk about women having choices? That poor baby has no choice. He/ she can't choose to live or die. And sex before marriage is wrong, so there is no excuse for teens having it left and right, protected or unprotected, and getting pregnant. That's their fault, not a baby concieved by two love drunk teenagers. And rape? Baby still deserves to live. I can say with all honesty that if I was raped and got pregnant, however shamed and upset and embarrassed and terrified I would be, I would go through with it. I admit it wouldn't be easy, though.
My long opinion.
And it's possible, if on tiptoes, to stand between the raindrops.
It isn't "murder" if the abortion doctor and the mother never believed the fetus was alive. I read an article that explains that.
Why do so many people love fetuses so much?
The teenager thing is kind of difficult, in the teenagers' defence, it would be natural to have a baby then, if society thought it was, since you're young, and have all those hormones in you, but that doesn't really matter nowadays, considering, I don't know about you, but there are 0 teenagers I know who should/could take care of a baby. Not to mention, the ones getting pregnant are mostly the reckless "rebel" ones, who can't even take care of themselves. Which is another reason why I support abortion. Confused? Well, while some people might say "it's their fault, they deserve it!" 1. you're making babies sound like a punishment (hmm..? I thought they were innocent and gifts!?) 2. It isn't just a "punishment" for the teenager(s), but the baby also has to be raised by them, so if they can't care for it properly, which is probable, then the baby suffers too.
If this makes no sense it's 'cause I wrote it early in the morning o.e
