@TheRam Cells are alive, thus a fetus is "alive". Being alive≠having a conscious mind, self awareness. We protect non-conscious and conscious life forms alike, so there isn't really any argument for not protecting it for not being "alive".

As terrible as it may sound, my hatred of abortions has less to due with the actual aborting and more to do with that it is often used as a "Consequence Free!" card. And yes I'm sure I have just repeated something I said earlier.

If you had a condom, it broke, you're pregnant, but you're not ready for a child yet, I think abortion should be an option.
